According to data obtained from satellites — the DPRK continues their work on nuclear center in Yongbyon, Interfax reported while citing »The Hill». In particular, the construction of a new pumping unit for the cooling system of the reactor is underway, the construction of a reservoir with water for the cooling system has already been completed. The website notes that the employees of the nuclear center will continue their normal activities until they receive special orders from the leader of the DPRK Kim Jong-un.

The Prime Minister of Denmark, Lars Luke Rasmussen, announced that Denmark plans to delay the construction of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline. Legislative initiatives were introduced in the country’s parliament that allow to veto the project, or delay it. Earlier the US foreign ministry mentioned that the «Nord Stream — 2», at the moment, is a problem of Europe and Ukraine.

During the recent OSCE conference in Kiev, a man in Ukrainian military uniform announced that he personally transported explosives to Oleg Sentsov. This was reported by the Ukrainian news agency «Strana dot UA». A man in uniform went on the stage and told that back in 2014 he transported an object to Crimea, that later was the reason of the conviction of Oleg Sentsov. As the edition explains — the man’s speech, most likely, was about an explosive. The speaker explained that he decided to tell about this just so the special services of Ukraine would find the people who gave Oleg Sentsov to Russian law enforcement. The man also said that Oleg Sentsov has some information the publication of which will not beneficial to Kiev. Oleg Sentsov was sentenced to 20 years in prison on charges of organizing terrorist acts in Crimea.

Russian Minister of Energy, Alexander Novak, met with his American counterpart Rick Perry and US Treasury Secretary Stephen Mnuchin in Washington. Alexander Novak discussed the US sanctions on the construction of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline with Perry and Mnuchin. The Russian Minister of Energy noted that the issue of the sanctions «could not be circumvented» during the negotiations, but the results of the discussion were not announced. According to him — the parties agreed to maintain contacts on this issue.

Ukrainian troops fired at the positions of the LPR four times over the past day. This was reported in the defense department of the Republic. The settlements Prishib, Nizhne Lozovoe and Sokolniki were under attack. Mortars of various caliber, weaponry of infantry fighting vehicles and small arms were used during the shelling.

In the DPR, over the past day, Ukrainian troops violated the ceasefire three times, firing 78 shells at the front-line areas of the Republic. Dokuchaevsk and Gorlovka were under fire.
