Deputy of the Russian Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko announced that the Russian Ministry of Defense bought 12 fighters of the fifth generation Su-57, Interfax reports. «The first contract for 12 planes is signed. The deliveries will begin in the near future in accordance with the contract.» — Krivoruchko told reporters on Saturday at the Gagarin’s Aircraft factory in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. He added that the engines of the SU-57 are still undergoing tests. According to Alexei Krivoruchko, the company »Sukhoi» copes well with the set objectives.

Investigators of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia searched the house of the nephew of the former President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and found agreements on deposits in banks worth of about 7 millions of dollars — the agreements were signed in the second half of 2017 by the brother of the former Armenian president and his daughter. The report says that at that time Serzh Sargsyan was an ambassador, and thus, in accordance with the law, he had to declare the property and finances, but such declaration wasn’t submitted by him and his daughter. Criminal cases have been opened for articles «concealing funds» and «illegal enrichment».

The US State Department opposes the construction of Russian gas pipelines «Nord Stream -2» and the second line of the «Turkish Stream», since they allegedly will enhance European dependence on Russian gas.
