Several Russian banks of the top 20 have been attacked by the BadRabbit cryptoworm according to information from Ilya Sachkov, CEO of Group-IB, a company specialized on the prevention and investigation of cybercrime. This new cryptographic virus is a modified version of the NotPetya virus, which hit IT systems in several countries in June. Let’s recall that yesterday the agency «Interfax» and the St. Petersburg «Fontanka.ru» also reported that they were subjected to cyber-attacks of this virus.

During the past day, Kiev forces shelled the positions of the People’s Militia of the LPR five times. Almaznaya, Kalinovo, Dolgoye and Kalinovka were subjected to shelling by means of mortars, grenade launchers and small arms.

The Armed forces of Ukraine have violated ceasefire 23 times in the DPR over the past day. Thirteen settlements of the Republic were subjected to shelling. The AFU used mortars, IFVs and APCs arms, grenade launchers and small arms. As a result of mortar shelling, one of the civilians suffered a shrapnel wound. The DPR soldiers provided the necessary assistance to the affected.

Kiev authorities have announced that the US decided in favor of Ukraine. Chief of the General Staff of the AFU Viktor Muzhenko told reporters that Washington is ready to present the lethal weapons to the Ukrainian side. According to Muzhenko, the list of weapons and all the procedural issues have been already agreed upon. The CGS noted that only a political decision of Washington is to be waited for.

The Turkish military started building and strengthening their positions in Azaz, in the north of the province of Aleppo.
