On the 16th of November, the Armed Forces of Ukraine opened fire on the Trudovskaya Mine of the Petrovsky district of Donetsk with the using of banned weapons. Trudovskie bus station was bombarded with heavy machine guns and infantry fighting vehicles, and nearby houses were under fire from mortars.

Ukrainian forces illegally occupy houses of civilians in the settlement Zolotoe near the contact line in Donbass, an official representative of the People’s Militia of the LPR Andrey Marochko said. According to the People’s Militia, residents have filed more than 20 applications to the local police department, accusing the Ukrainian soldiers of looting and robbery.

Dmitry Peskov commented on Vladimir Putin’s telephone conversation with the heads of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics Alexander Zakharchenko and Igor Plotnitsky. According to him, the heads of the People’s Republics expressed the hope that it will be possible to agree on the details of the exchange of prisoners with Kiev. At the same time, Peskov noted that Moscow cannot put pressure on Donetsk and Lugansk, but it has a definite influence, though not unlimited.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine violated the ceasefire 37 times. 19 settlements of the Republic were under fire. They used artillery, mortars, infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, grenade launchers and small arms. A house and gas pipe lines were damaged in Gorlovka. The power supply of five villages in the south of the Republic was broken: Kominterovo, Novaya Tavria, Leninskoe, Dzerzhinskoe and Zaichenko.

During the past day, Kiev forces shelled the positions of the People’s Militia of the LPR 8 times. Settlements Kalinovo, Krasny Yar, Sokolniki, Kalinovka, Logvinovo and Zheltoe were subjected to fire. They used mortars, infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers and small arms.
