Summary events of Novorossiya, February 25, 2017

The Ukrainian nationalistic battalions captured objects of the Donetsk filtering station tonight, the Deputy Commander of the operational command of the DPR Eduard Basurin reported today. Ukrainian soldiers shelled the positions of the DPR and residential areas of Yasinovataya and Spartak. They used mortars and large-calibre machine guns.
The situation in the DPR is worsening. The Ukrainian Armed Forces shelled the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic over 2000 times for the last 24 hours. They used mortars, tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, heavy artillery, antiaircraft guns, grenade launchers and small arms. Donetsk, Yasinovataya and the village Spartak were subjected to intense fire. 1 soldier of the DPR was wounded.
Ukrainian fighters have opened fire at the area of the Donetsk airport in the morning. They used artillery and mortars.
6 Ukrainian self-propelled guns «The Acacia», 6 tanks and 3 self-propelled guns «The Carnation» were detected near Yasinovataya,Eduard Basurin reported today.
Kiev fighters shelled the positions of the LPR People’s Militia in the villages Kalinovo, Nizhnee Lozovoe, Smeloe and Kalinovka. They used mortars, tanks, grenade launchers and small arms. 1 soldier of the LPR was killed and 1 wounded; it has been reported by the Ministry of Defense.
