The Russian Foreign Ministry accused the US on an attempt of stopping of the Russian participation in the work of the UN. This statement was made after Washington failed to issue an entry visa to a Russian chemical expert, Dmitry Poklonsky. He was supposed to partake in a briefing on the report of the mission that investigates the use of the chemical weapons in the Syrian city of Douma in April of 2018. That incident caused an unlawful missile attack of the Western coalition on Syria. The Russian Foreign Ministry underlined that the US are trying to prevent the spread of the information about the incident in the Syrian city of Douma. Additionally, the US unfairly fulfill their obligations as the host of the UN HQ in New York, and even use such position for their own selfish foreign policy purposes.
