A school in Gorlovka was shelled

On 5th of August, at 19:10, the Ukrainian troops opened heavy machinegun fire on the outskirts of the town of Gorlovka. As a result of the shelling — the windows of the school №30, and other residential buildings nearby, were damaged. A local outbuilding was damaged as well. Fortunately — none of the civilians was injured.

On 21st of July, parliamentary elections were held in Ukraine. Another ‘ceasefire’ came into force in Donbass. The military personnel at the positions of the People’s Militia of the DPR has experienced the first week of the “truce”. According to them, they can breathe easier now, but no-one is relaxed. No-one believes that their enemy will completely cease their fire. The soldiers are constantly waiting for the intensification of the hostilities and the following shelling.

 Regarding the previous news: Starting from the moment the new ceasefire agreement came into force in Donbass — the servicemen of the People’s Militia of the DPR have shot down six Ukrainian strike drones, the Department of the people’s militia of the Republic reported.

The Ukrainian troops deployed 3 MLRS ‘Grad’ and 5 ‘Acacia’ self-propelled howitzers into the so-called “combined forces operation” zone. The head of the press service of the LPR People’s Militia, Yakov Osadchy, reported.
