Abkhazia established diplomatic relations with the Luhansk People’s Republic

1 Russia

On 10th of March Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with the South African President who supported the on-going political and diplomatic efforts in Ukraine. The Presidents agreed on the importance of the on-going cooperation within the BRICS framework, and at the other international platforms. They intend to further develop the strategic cooperation between the countries. Earlier, Vladimir Putin spoke by phone with the leaders of France and Germany. The Kremlin press service stated that the heads of all 3 countries continued to discuss the Ukrainian matter.

2 Russia

The Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov had negotiations with his Ukrainian counterpart, Dmitry Kuleba, in Antalya. He expressed a hope for a meeting between Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky. The issue will be worked out via the Belarusian format. Sergei Lavrov reminded that Vladimir Putin never refuses contacts, but not contacts for the sake of contacts. Sergey Lavrov said that the latest statements from Vladimir Zelensky show that Ukraine is beginning to understand the Russian approach. Sergei Lavrov reminded that Russia doesn’t want the militarization of Ukraine, and advocates a neutral status for Ukraine. Russia is ready to discuss the security guarantees. He added that Russia considers the refusal of the NATO to take into account the Russian interests in the matter of the NATO expansion to be unacceptable.

3 Russia

The press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, stated that the facts of the presence of Russian conscripts in Ukraine were found, and the situation was corrected. He urged to wait for the results of the verification of these facts by the Main Russian Military Prosecutor’s Office. He reminded that on 9th of March the relevant materials were transferred to the Main Russian Military Prosecutor’s Office, which will carry out verification, and give a legal assessment. Dmitry Peskov urged to wait for the results.

4 Ukraine

The Ukrainian nationalists are preparing a chemical attack near Kharkov, which they will blame on Russia. Russia sent the data on this case to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the Ukrainian radicals prepared 80 tons of ammonia near the city of Kharkov. The target of the provocation could be an experimental nuclear reactor in Kharkov. The Russian military has already passed all the information to the OPCW.

5 The DPR

The DPR forces have liberated 78 settlements. They continue the offensive along the administrative border of the Zaporozhye region together with the Russian forces. The Ukrainian nationalists are cut off from the escape routes. The Ukrainian shelling of the houses of locals is still ongoing. Several villages in the LPR were cut off the power grid, some people were wounded. 3 villages in the DPR were shelled all at once within 10 minutes. The information is being specified.

6 The LPR

On the territory that came under the control of the LPR, an investigation was launched into the discovery of an illegal prison of the «Aidar» battalion. In the village of Polovinkino, from the Starobelsky district of the LPR, a torture camp was found where militiamen from Lugansk, and people suspected of supporting of the LPR, were kept by force. The camp was made in the smokehouse of a local sausage factory. Along the perimeter of the building the Aidar battalion built watchtowers, thus turning the sausage factory into a concentration camp. The smokehouse consists of separate chambers, each of which is closed from above with bars. Presumably, the choice of the location was due to the convenience of observing of the victims through the bars.

7 Abkhazia

Abkhazia has established diplomatic relations with the LPR. A draft treaty on the friendship and cooperation between the countries is being prepared at the moment — the Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia stated. The draft inter-state treaty on friendship and cooperation will become the foundation for the further formation of the legal framework between Abkhazia and the LPR.

8 The DPR

The DPR forces continued their offensive and freed the towns of Blizjnee and Tavla. The advance was 4 kilometers. The operation to liberate Mariupol continues. The DPR forces at the east of the city liberated the towns of Azov, Naidenovka, Lyapino, Vinogradar. They reached the Azovstal factory. The city district ’’Zapadnii’’ was liberated. The ANNA NEWS reporters reported that the left bank of Mariupol has been cleared by 60%. The locals of the city of Kharkov demand the Ukrainian forces to remove military equipment from schools and kindergartens. They were not successful.

9 Ukraine

On 10th of March, the Russian First Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, Dmitry Polyansky, stated that the information, published on Twitter by the Secretary General of the UN, António Guterres, regarding the attack on a hospital in Mariupol, was a fake news. He attached a screenshot of a paragraph from the statement, which provides the data on the actions of the Ukrainian nationalists. “The locals reported that the Ukrainian forces evicted the staff from maternity hospital number 1 in the city of Mariupol, and set up a shooting range in there.
