1 Germany — Afghanistan

The German Defense Minister Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer expressed her opinion that at the moment no-one can predict what political events await Afghanistan after the foreign forces leave the country. She underlined that it is an open question for both the Taliban and the Afghan government. Earlier, she stated that the German forces, after 20 years, have completed their participation in the mission «Resolute Support», in Afghanistan.

2 Russia — Afghanistan

The Russian Presidential Special Representative for Afghanistan, and the director of the 2nd Asia Department under the Russian Foreign Ministry, Zamir Kabulov, stated that the Afghan Presidential National Security Advisor, Hamdullah Mohib, will hold consultations with the Russian Security Council Secretary, Nikolai Patrushev, in Moscow. It was reported that the main topic will be the situation in Afghanistan. Earlier, the Afghan channel ’1TV’ reported while citing a source that on 1st of July, an adviser to the Afghan president will visit Moscow. It was reported that he will discuss with the senior Russian officials the issues of bilateral cooperation in the security matters.

3 The CAR

7 people were killed in terrorist attacks on the checkpoints and government camps in the south of the Central African Republic, near the border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo — the ’France-Presse’ reported with a reference to a representative of the UN Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic. 5 Ukraine — The USA
