Baghdad imposed restrictions on the movement of the coalition forces
1 Iraq
The representative of the Iraqi armed forces, Abdel Kerim Half, announced that Baghdad imposed restrictions on the ground and air movement of the international coalition forces in Iraq. According to Abdel Kerim Half — Washington didn’t inform the General Command of the Iraqi Armed Forces about their operations. He stated that «One can’t close his eyes to the recent American attacks.» The Iraqi authorities began to prepare the process of the withdrawal of the US troops. Earlier, the Iraqi parliament approved a resolution that required the Iraqi government to withdraw all the foreign troops from Iraq.

A spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Geng Shuang, while commenting on the need to discuss the assassination of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps General Kassem Suleimani in the UN Security Council, specified: “The primary responsibility of the Security Council is the protection of the international peace and stability. It must fulfill its obligations accordingly. The shenanigans of the US military violate the fundamental principles of the international relations. They have led to an escalation, and an instability in the region” — Geng Shuang concluded. Earlier the official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Abbas Mousavi, announced that Tehran appealed to the UN Security Council due to the situation around the death of the General Suleymani during a US military operation in Iraq.

Iran specified that now «there are no more restrictions on the Iranian nuclear program.» It was noted that Iranian cooperation with the IAEA continues, and Iran is ready to return to the fulfilling of its obligations if the sanctions are lifted and Tehran’s interests, covered by the nuclear deal, are secured.
