According to the local sources — the leaders of the terrorist organization »Islamic Party of Turkestan» were killed. The targets of the airstrikes were the objects of islamists in the Jisr al-Shugur area, and in the Kafr-Zita district at the base of the al-Lataminah ridge. Both Jisr al-Shugur and Kafr Zita are the settlements where a provocation with the use of chemical weapons may occur. The Anna News agency reminds that the provocations with the use of chemical weapons are being prepared by the local jihadists.

Germany may take part in the attacks against Syria together with the US, UK, and France — if the Syrian authorities use chemical weapons, Interfax reports with a reference to »Bild». According to the newspaper — the Germans may use their aircraft to carry out reconnaissance missions before and after the strikes of the Allies, as well as for the for bombing runs and missile strikes. The newspaper claims that the matter of German participation in the raids on Syria is being considered by the request from Washington. This topic was discussed earlier by the German Defense Minister, Ursula von der Leyen, with the military attaché of the US in Berlin. During the April missile strike of the US, UK and France on the Syrian territory — Germany did not participate.

The Pentagon denied the statement of the Russian Defense Ministry regarding the US Air Forces striking Deir ez-Zor with phosphorous bombs, Interfax reported while citing Global News. A spokesman for the Pentagon, Sean Robertson, explained that the Pentagon currently does not have any information on the use of the ammunition with white phosphorus. According to him — none of the regiments of the US Army in the area have this type of weapons. Yesterday, the head of the Russian Center for the reconciliation of the warring parties in Syria, Lieutenant-General Vladimir Savchenko, announced that F-15s of the US Air Forces bombed the settlement of Khajin in Deir ez-Zor province with phosphorus bombs during the last Saturday. There were strong fires after the bombing run.

Russian experts were allowed to enter the American laboratories located on Armenian territory. Those laboratories are studying the biomaterials, Interfax reports while referring to the statement of Armenian Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan. He said that the Russian specialists «Never had access problems, and they will not have them from the moment when I’ve become the prime minister of Armenia.» In addition, Pashinyan added that those laboratories are completely under control by the Armenian authorities, and «they can’t be used against Russia in any way.»

The chairman of the Social Democratic Party of Germany, Andrea Nales, excluded the possibility of the participation of the German Armed Forces in the military operations against Syrian government forces, »Deutsche Welle» reports. «The SPD will not approve of German participation in the Syrian conflict neither in the government nor in parliament» — the politician said.

Military reporters confirmed that two F-15s of the US Air Forces carried out a bombing run with the use of phosphorus incendiary bombs in the Syrian province of Deir ez Zor. Back in 2017, the US-led coalition, in response to media accusations of using white phosphorus, replied that it was «in accordance with the laws of war.»
