In Nad-Ali district of Helmand province, in Afghanistan, a suicide bomber blew up a car. As a result of the terrorist attack, at least six policemen were killed. Not a single terrorist group has taken responsibility for the attack yet.

Over the past day, Ukrainian troops violated the ceasefire agreements three times, firing 60 shells at the front-line territories of the DRP. During the shelling, heavy mortars, grenade launchers and small arms were used. The western outskirts of Donetsk, Yasinovataya and the village of Spartak were under fire. Information about the victims and the destruction is being specified.

Russian permanent representative in the EU, Vladimir Chizhov, said that «Moscow is not afraid of ultimatums, announced by London in regards of the poisoning of the former Colonel of GRU Sergei Skripal and his daughter». He added that «London, unfortunately, chose the language of ultimatums. I can say for sure that language of ultimatums does not work with Russia. I think this should obvious to UK and other Western countries». Earlier, British Prime Minister, Teresa May, demanded Russia to provide an explanation within the next 24 hours about the poisoning of the former GRU officer Sergei Skripal, and his daughter Julia, in Salisbury.

The Kiev Appeal Court denied the complaint from the Russian company Gazprom regarding the decision of the Ukrainian Economic Court, which demanded Gazprom to pay a fine of $ 6.5 billions of dollars for alleged abuse of Gazprom’s monopoly position. Back in February 22nd, the Kyiv Economic Court of Appeal also rejected a complaint from Gazprom, regarding the same issue.

Former US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson made an announcement in the State Department. In the course of his speech, he spoke about his resignation, and the exact order of handing over the post. As it became known recently, President of the United States Donald Trump fired Tillerson, and appointed in his place the director of the CIA, Mike Pompeo. The reason for his dismissal was identified by Trump as a disagreement on the Iranian nuclear issue.

The mass-media of Ukraine announced the decision of the Biathlon Federation of Ukraine to not participate in the World Cup in Tyumen. The president of the Biathlon Federation of Ukraine, Vladimir Brynzak, commented on this statement: «This decision was made at the state level, not only in relation to biathlon. From now on, all Ukrainian sports teams will not participate in competitions that take place on the territory of Russia».
