According to the ‘Times of Israel’, the number of Palestinians killed during the riots on the border between the Gaza Strip and Israel on Monday increased to 59 people. More than 1200 people were injured.

Today, the UN Security Council will hold an emergency meeting in order to discuss the situation in the Gaza Strip and the consequences of the transfer of the American Embassy in Israel to the city of Jerusalem. The initiator of the meeting of the Security Council was Kuwait. The Arab states require an independent international investigation into the matters of the deaths of dozens of people on the Gaza border. Western diplomatic sources say that the USA are blocking this initiative, using the right of veto.
The head of Tajikistan’s border troops announced that the Taliban had deployed about 7000 of their fighters in 29 training bases on the Afghan-Tajik border. The bases are located in the provinces of Balkh, Kunduz, Takhor and Badakhshan. Many of those terrorists are natives of the Central Asia countries. Tajikistan, which has the longest border with Afghanistan that lasts for 1,400 kilometers, is quite concerned about the armed groups on its southern borders.
