British Foreign Secretary, Boris Johnson, called Moscow’s retaliatory measures of expulsion of 23 Russian diplomats to be «useless». «These useless measures will punish only ordinary Russians, depriving them of opportunities to learn English and obtain visas. Today, Russia is alone and isolated. This is the most important difference between Britain and Putin: we have friends around the world, and he does not.» — The minister said.



Georgian Prime Minister Georgy Kvirikashvili may soon leave his post, Georgian media reports. The head of the ministry of internal affairs, Giorgi Gakharia, and the Minister of Finances, Mamuka Bakhtadze, may also resign. The departure of the prime minister in Georgia was actively discussed after the publication of his open letter to the Russian leadership with a request to establish bilateral relations.
