In Crimea, agents of the FSB stopped the activities of an extremist group created by an assistant of a parliamentarian of the Ukrainian parliament, Mustafa Dzhemilev. The group had support from the Ukrainian Security Agency. This was reported today by the PR department of the FSB. According to the FSB, the group planned crimes aimed to intimidate pro-Russian Crimean Tatars, and creating inter-ethnic tensions in the territory of the Republic of Crimea.

The President of Bulgaria, Rumen Radeb, expressed his hope for the direct supply of Russian gas through the Black Sea. «The security of energy supplies is a very important matter for Bulgaria and the EU, so I hope that our governments will consider the possibility of direct supplies from Russia through the Black Sea» — Radev said today in Moscow during the meeting with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. After 2019, the supply of gas to Bulgaria from Russia will be organized through the »Turkish Stream» gas pipeline. Bulgaria thus will receive blue fuel from Russia through transit via Turkey.

Ukrainian troops fired at the LPR positions five times over the past day. Villages of Kalinovo, Nizhnie Lozovoe and Kalinovka were hit. Mortars, grenade launchers and small arms were used in the shelling. Ukrainian units overnight made an attempt to break through the DPR defense line near the settlement of Golmovsky, near the town of Gorlovka. During the battle Ukrainian troops were stopped. As reported by the DPR operational command, during that attack one DPR soldier was killed, three were taken as prisoners. The Ukrainians lost five soldiers, four were injured.

German politician Sarah Wagenknecht called out the «hypocrisy» showed by Europe to Russia. According to her, the West actively violates international law, and the economic sanctions are hitting the EU and, in particular, German business. Therefore, Sarah Wagenkneht believes that it is necessary to put an end to the «ice age» in the policy to the Kremlin. She also criticized European «hypocritical» approach to the Russia due to the status of the Crimea, and the situation in Syria. Sarah Wagenknecht points out that the criticism comes from those who violate international law themselves. She reminded that the USA invested five billion dollars in the coup in Ukraine.

India ran a successful test of the supersonic cruise missile «BrahMos» — the Organization for Defensive Research of India reports. «The test launch of the supersonic cruise missile BrahMos was successfully carried out today from the Balassor test site, in the state of Orissa, as a part of the program of extending the lifetime of the missiles.

Syrian government troops liberated the camp of Palestinian refugees «Yarmuk», which is located south of Damascus, from the terrorists, a source from RIA NEWS reports. A day before the announced ceasefire, the civilians were removed from the area, including those who needed emergency medical care.
