On Sunday night, a fire broke out in the city of Vladikavkaz at the »Electro-zinc» plant, the largest industrial object in North Ossetia. According to Yurii Zemlyanskii, the First Deputy Head of the Russian Emergency Ministry in the Republic of North Ossetia, a firefighter died while extinguishing the fire. The investigative committee began their investigation of the case of the fire at the plant.

The Turkish part of the commission reported none — Russian defense ministry reports. Meanwhile, the Russian Center for the reconciliation of the warring parties in Syria held two humanitarian actions. In the village of Al Hussainia, in the province of Deir ez-Zor, 450 food portions, about 2 tons in total, were handed out. The same happened in the village of Kabra in the province of Aleppo.

Israel is re-opening the checkpoints with the Gaza Strip. They were closed four days ago in response to Palestinian rocket attack, the authorities of the enclave said. The Israeli Ministry of Defense explained the re-opening of the checkpoints with reduction of the tension at the border. The “Kerem-Shalom” checkpoint is used to transport commercial and humanitarian goods, while the “Erez” — for the passage of people. On Wednesday, a rocket hit a residential building, after which Israel closed the checkpoints. ‘Hamas’, the ruling party in the Gaza Strip, denied its participation in the attack and, according to Israel, took measures to restrain the aggressive actions in the territories under their control.

The Ukrainian army, over the past day, violated the cease-fire in the Donbas 23 times. As the representative of the DPR told in the Joint Center for the Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire — the Ukrainian army fired about 50 mortar shells at the republic. They also used grenade launchers, weapons of infantry fighting vehicles and small arms. There were no reported civilian casualties. In total, the Ukrainian army used 248 units of ammunition. The so-called «school» truce was introduced from 29th of October. It was agreed upon by the contact group on the settlement of the conflict.
