The head of the Aleppo Police Department, General Issam al-Shally, blamed the attack on Jabhat al-Nusra. According to him — the terrorists shelled the areas that are close to the line of contact between the Syrian army and the terrorists. Syrian armed forces fired back at the terrorists later — dozens of terrorists were killed and wounded.
