China has deployed anti-ship cruise missiles, anti-aircraft missile systems and electronic warfare systems on the three islands of the Spratly archipelago, whose territorial affiliation is being contested by a number of countries in the region, CNBC reported. US intelligence estimates that over the past thirty days, the weaponry systems were deployed on the following reefs: Subi Reefs, Mischief and Fiery Cross, RIA News reports while citing CNBC. The territory of the Spratly Islands is disputed by six states: China, Vietnam, Taiwan, Malaysia, Philippines and Brunei.
