Thanks to the assistance from the Center for the Reconciliation of Warring Parties — an aid is provided to the refugees. The demining of the freed territories is still continuing at the moment.
Yemeni husits counter-attacked the advancing forces of the «Southern Movement» on the outer areas of the city-port of Hodeida. During the action, several armored vehicles and APCs were destroyed, which caused the pro-Saudi forces to suffer casualties in manpower. The pro-Saudi formations tried to approach the outskirts of Hodeida with an intension of taking the city by force, and thus cut the husits from their sea supply lines.
The US Air Forces continue to carry out air strikes on the ISIS-controlled Syrian city of Hajin, in the province of Deir ez Zor. The Ukrainian State Hydrography Agency closed off three sections in the Azov Sea for three months. This was stated by the press center of the Ukrainian Navy. The plots of sea will be closed off for the whole summer, from 1st of June until the 1st of September. The press release specifies that two of the closed areas are near the city of Mariupol, and the third closed area is in the east of Berdyansk. The representative of the Ukrainian Navy explained that the areas are closed because of «combat training of the Ukrainian Forces.»
In the DPR, over the past day, Ukrainian units violated the ceasefire regime 16 times, firing 204 shells at the front-line regions of the Republic. The western districts of Donetsk, the areas of the towns of Yasinovatoy, Dokuchaevsk, Gorlovka and Telmanovo were under fire. As a result, four buildings in Dokuchaevsk and one building in the village of Zaitsevo, near Gorlovka, were damaged.
Today, the Russian President Vladimir Putin is making his first foreign visit after his inauguration. Vladimir Putin currently is in Vienna, where he should meet with the leadership of Austria and discuss the matters of his participation in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the cooperation between the two countries in the gas supply. The negotiations will also include the construction of the Nord Stream 2, and other energy projects, as well as discussing the bilateral economic and cultural ties, and the topic of the conflicts in the south-east of Ukraine and Syria, as well as the issue of the US withdrawal from the treaty on the Iranian nuclear program.
