On January 4, a 5.6 magnitude earthquake was recorded in Kamchatka. Underground tremors occurred at a depth of 64 km around Сape Shipunsky. There is no tsunami threat. The buildings are being inspected for damage.
27-year-old Khamzat Baymuradov who shot the head of Avtury village police department the night before was liquidated during the Chechen police special operation. The offender was found and blocked on the outskirts of the village. When attempting to evade arrest Baymuradov began to shoot back and was killed by a counter fire. There are no victims during the operation.
During the fire fighting at the factory shoe shop in the village of Chernorechensky, Novosibirsk region, ten bodies were found. According to preliminary data, the toll is seven Chinese citizens, two Kyrgyz citizens and one Russian who worked in the warehouse. The work of firefighters was complicated by strong toxic smoke. Currently, the open fire has been eliminated, the debris is being analyzed.
