The Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Black Sea Fleet, together with the Border Guard Service of the FSB, stopped the violation of the Russian state border by the British Navy destroyer ’Defender’ near Cape Fiolent. It was reported that the destroyer crossed the Russian state border and entered the territorial sea for 3 km. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that one border patrol ship carried out warning fire. One Su-24M aircraft performed precautionary bombing run along the path of the UK destroyer. The Russian Defense Ministry called on the UK to investigate the actions of the destroyer. The British Department of Defense responded that the British Navy warship was moving in the territorial waters of Ukraine, in accordance with the international law.

The US State Department spokesman Ned Price stated that the USA are calling for an independent investigation of the airstrike on a market in a village in the state of Tigray, north of Ethiopia. The USA called for an immediate ceasefire in Tigray, free access for the humanitarian aid, and protection for the civilians. The Associated Press reported that the air strike on 22nd of June killed about 80 people. The Reuters reported that a spokesman for the Ethiopian army did not confirm or deny that the federal forces attacked the village. It was noted that such air strikes are a common tactic in the fight against the terrorists, but such attacks aren’t directed against the civilians. The rebels from the «People’s Front for the Liberation of Tigray’’ launched an attack against the federal forces across the state, on Monday.

The Associated Press reported while citing an official source that about 650 US servicemen will remain in Afghanistan after the majority of the US troops will be pulled out from the country. It was reported that the remaining servicemen will provide security for the diplomats after the pulling of most of the US troops. Several hundred US servicemen will remain at the Kabul airport, possibly until September, to help the Turkish forces to maintain security. It was noted that a significant part of the American and international forces will be pulled out from Afghanistan by 4th of July.

The Uzbek Foreign Ministry reported that on Wednesday, 53 servicemen of the Afghan border troops and fighters of the local militia crossed into the territory of Uzbekistan. «After carrying out the necessary procedures of inquiry and investigative actions, the aforementioned Afghan citizens were returned to their homeland» — the report stated. The Uzbek Foreign Ministry added that any attempts to illegally enter the Uzbek territory will be stopped. Most severe measures will be taken against the violators of the state border.

Turkey offered Libya an agreement according to which the Turkish troops stationed in Libya will remain in Libya. The Libyan mass media reported that Turkey suggested to Libya to agree on the agreement during the 2nd Berlin conference on Libya. According to the suggested agreement — the Turkish troops will stay in Libya before and after the parliamentary and presidential elections, planned for 24th of December, 2021. It was noted that the Turkish proposal caused serious disagreements in the Libyan leadership.

The Russian Ambassador to Armenia, Sergei Kopyrkin, stated that the preparatory work, carried out by the Russian peacekeepers, played an important role in the return of 15 Armenian soldiers from Azerbaijan. He added that Russia initially did, and still doing, everything possible to ensure that the return of Armenian prisoners is being carried out. On 12th of June the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry announced the return of 15 soldiers to Armenia in exchange for maps of 97,000 of antipersonnel and anti-tank land mines, planted in the Agdam region.
