British detectives, currently investigating the case of Skripals, consider Russia to be involved in at least 2 more murders in the UK, «The Sunday Times» reports. Scotland Yard’s counter-terrorist unit «has received new information which indicated that the Russian assassins could have had other targets”. The detectives found that they »came to the country and left it at about the time when the suspicious deaths took place». In particular, deaths of Alexander Perepelichny and Scott Young. Alexander Perepelichny was one of the main witnesses of the “case of Magnitsky”. He was discovered dead in November of 2013. At first, his death didn’t rise any suspicion, but in 2015 it was discovered that he could have been poisoned by a high-speed poison.
John Kelly, the head of the White House administration, will leave his post before the end of this year, said the US President Donald Trump. It is still unknown who will become the new head of the White House office. The name is expected to be announced in the coming days. Thousands of people marched through the center of Belgrade, protesting against the policies of Serbian President Alexander Vucic and his government. The reason for the march was the beating of a left-leaning Serbian politician Borko Stefanovic and his colleagues as well. According to the protesters, the incident happened because of the «atmosphere of cruelty and intimidation», made by the ruling coalition. The opposition accuses Vucic in limitation of democratic freedoms.
About 400 people were detained by the Brussels police during the «yellow vests» protest. According to the official police representative — about 1,000 people went to the streets. The police used tear gas and water cannons in order to disperse the protesters. Later, the protesters said that they were beaten by the police.
