The head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of the warring parties in Syria, Rear-Admiral Alexander Shcherbitsky, reported that a group of terrorists from the ‘Hayat Tahrir al-Sham’ stopped a convoy of 17 minibuses with school graduates that were sent from the Idlib DMZ to the city of Hama, controlled by the Syrian authorities. Alexander Shcherbitsky added that some of the graduates, together with their parents, tried to walk in the direction of the Syrian army checkpoint near the settlement of Trumba. The terrorists stopped them under a threat of weapons. Alexander Shcherbitsky explained that an agreement was reached between the Syrian government and the heads of local administrations in the Idlib DMZ to provide the secondary school students with an opportunity to obtain documents of graduation from the universities, and to take exams for the admission to Syrian universities. However the radical groups at the south of the DMZ impeded the implementation of the agreement.
