Two of them were children. “As a result of the shelling of the village of Nairab, in the province of Aleppo, 8 Syrian citizens, including 2 children, were killed. 10 civilians were injured” — said Viktor Kupchishin. According to him — during the day, the terrorists fired at the settlements located in the provinces of Latakia, Hama and Aleppo.

2 Sudan

The Military Council of Sudan and the representatives of the »Alliance for Freedom and Change» agreed to establish a three-year long transition period in Sudan — TASS reports with a reference to the TV channel ‘Al Arabiya’. The country’s military authorities also reported that an agreement was reached with the opposition to form a legislative council of 300 people. According to the statement, the military «will finalize the agreements with the alliance within the next 24 hours». On 11th April, after many months of protests during the most difficult economic situation in Sudan — the army removed the President Omar al-Bashir, who ruled the country for 30 years, from power, and took the control of the state by creating a temporary Military Council. The military dissolved the parliament and suspended the constitution.

3 Syria

Syrian troops repelled a counterattack that was launched in the north of the province of Hama by the formation of the «Front of the National Liberation», supported by Turkey — TASS reports with a reference to the newspaper Al-Akhbar. According to the Al-Akhbar, the militants deployed a large amount of troops at the east of the city of Kurnaz for the breakthrough. They tried to take back two settlements — Hamamiyat and Al-Jabin — both were previously freed by the Syrian troops. However, the Syrian troops withstood the attacks of the militants, and even destroyed 9 armored vehicles. The militants suffered losses and retreated. On Monday, the Syrian army, in the course of an operation, liberated the settlements of Sheikh Idriss and Toubi, north of the town of Kfar Nabud, in the north of Hama province. In this area, the Syrian troops are fighting for the heights of Tell-Saher, and for the village of Al-Hobeit.

4 Iran

Starting from 15th of May, Iran officially suspends the fulfillment of a part of Iranian obligations under the Joint Comprehensive Action Plan. This was stated by the representative of the Atomic Energy Agency of Iran — TASS reports. According to the representative — this decision was made by the Supreme National Security Council of Iran. The representative also indicated that Tehran could resume its work on the uranium enrichment, and stop upgrading the heavy-water reactor in Arak if the parties of the treaty won’t fulfill their requirements within 60 days.
