1 Syria — The place of death of Roman Filipov

Reporters of ANNA-NEWS found the site of the death of a Russian hero, Major Roman Filipov. The filming crew conducted a journalistic investigation, and established the exact place where Major Roman Filipov had his last battle back on 3rd of February, 2018. 2 Russia — The blame from the USA (16.00)

The chairman of the Russian parliament’s foreign affairs committee, Leonid Slutsky, stated that the allegations of the US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo regarding the involvement of Russia in the deaths of the Turkish servicemen in Syria were made to taint the relations between Russia and Turkey. According to him — such actions of the US won’t be successful since the negotiations between the presidents of Russia and Turkey, which took place in Moscow, proved the existing «constructive level of dialogue» between the countries, and «confirmed the need to maintain the Astana format for a Syrian settlement.» Earlier the US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, announced that Russia is, allegedly, guilty of «killing dozens of Turkish servicemen in Syria».

3. Syria — the US Sanctions (8.00)

The US authorities added to the lists of sanctions the Minister of Defense of Syria, General Ali Abdullah Ayyub, who is the deputy commander in chief of the Syrian Armed Forces. This was announced on the website of the US Department of the Treasury. The department didn’t provide any additional explanations.

4 Turkey — A video-conference on Syria (8.00)

The Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, reported on Twitter that the negotiations between the Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan, the German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the French President Emmanuel Macron and the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson took place as a video-conference due to the threat of the new corona-virus. The German Chancellor Angela Merkel stated that the situation in Syria was discussed at the meeting. She called the negotiations ‘useful’. The topic of the migration was discussed as well. The EU countries expressed their commitment to the agreement with Turkey on the refugees, and they did not exclude a possible bigger financial assistance to Ankara.

5 Iran — A humanitarian Crisis induced by the USA

Iran has accused the US of intentionally creating a humanitarian crisis in the country, thus depriving Iranians of the needed medical equipment during the corona-virus epidemic — the Iranian embassy in Moscow announced on Twitter. It was reported that the US actions are preventing the acquisition of the medicines and medical equipment to deal with the new corona-virus. “Such actions against Iran, in particular by the US government, are no longer a mere legal or economic topic” — the statement concluded. It was underlined that such actions violate the international law.

6 Iran — The revenge to the USA for Suleymani

The Iranian president, Hassan Rouhani, stated that Tehran will continue to take actions against the US in response to the assassination of General Kassem Suleimani — the commander of the ‘Al-Quds’ — the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps — by the US forces. “We didn’t leave this matter unanswered, and we won’t stop either” — Hassan Rouhani stated. He reminded that «the Iranian military has already responded and attacked an American base in the region with missiles in response to the assassination of Suleymani. I think the USA will never forget it since for the first time in the history of the region, a decisive and quick response was given to the barbaric actions of the Americans» — the Iranian president underlined.
