Donbass adheres to the Minsk agreements

On 12th of February the Ukrainian troops shelled the town of Donetskii. The local power line was damaged. This was reported by the representative office of the LPR in the Joint Center for the Monitoring and Coordination of the Ceasefire. “8 residential buildings were left without the power supply. There were no civilian casualties” — the report specified. “The LPR People’s Militia is aimed at a peaceful settlement of the conflict, and thus — it complies with its obligations” — the LPR representative office in the center assured.

A serviceman of the People’s Militia of the LPR, call-sign «Fox», spoke about the current situation near the village of «Zolotoe-5″. He noted that the Ukrainian troops are shelling not only the positions of the People’s Militia, but also the civilian buildings. »Fox» underlined that the units of the defense department of the Republic strictly follow the Minsk agreements, and they do not open fire.

«The Ukrainian forces disrupted the work of the UAVs of the Special Monitoring Mission of the OSCE near the village of Zolotoy by using electronic warfare devices» — said Ivan Filiponenko, an officer of the press service of the LPR People’s Militia Department. He specified that these facts were also mentioned in the report of the OSCE monitoring mission.

An another round of negotiations of the contact group, made to resolve the situation in Donbass, took place on Wednesday in Minsk. “We passed an updated list of people whom we want to free to the humanitarian subgroup” — the spokeswoman for the Kiev representative at the negotiations, Daria Olifer, said on her Facebook page. She added that the parties submitted their proposals regarding the search of the missing persons.

«The representatives of the DPR in the security subgroup, made to speed-up the process of negotiations on the new areas for the withdrawal of the military forces and assets, proposed to continue their work remotely» — said the plenipotentiary representative of the DPR at the negotiations of the Contact Group, the DPR Foreign Minister Natalya Nikonorova. She added that the coordination process is being complicated by the provocative actions of the Ukrainian negotiators — right before the meeting, the Kiev representatives made adjustments to the previously designated coordinates of the withdrawal sites.
