Igor Plotnitsky said that the former head of the Ministry of the Interior of the LPR tried to organize a coup. During the attempted coup in Lugansk, television, mobile communications and electricity were turned off. The Kremlin denied the reports, «about the support of certain political forces» in the Lugansk People’s Republic.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces violated the ceasefire 23 times. 10 settlements of the Republic were subjected to shelling; they used mortars, grenade launchers and small arms. A resident of Dokuchaevsk, Tatyana Goncharenko got injured. There is no electricity in the settlements in the south of the DPR as a result of damage to power transmission lines.

During the past day, Kiev forces shelled the positions of the People’s Militia of the LPR four times. It was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic. Villages Kalinovka and Krasny Liman were under fire. The fire was opened from mortars, infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers and small arms.

The Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine, Alexander Hug, arrived in Donetsk today. He has already met with one of the mission’s patrols in Yasinovataya, where he received a report on the progress of repair work on power lines in the village Krasny Partizan.

Military intelligence officers of the Donetsk People’s Republic recorded the location of the Ukrainian division of howitzers in Gorlovka, Eduard Basurin reported today.

The Donetsk command has provided fragments of the Kiev air drone. It was shot down over Dokuchaevsk the night before. The Ukrainian side used it to adjust fire.
