During the last days in Lugansk the conflict of the administration of the republic and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic continued. The administration controlled only the broadcasting company and its own officials among the managers close to Igor Plotnitsky. At the same time, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic reported on the connection of people from Igor Plotnitsky’s entourage with Kiev. According to witnesses, the head of the LPR decided to leave the Republic. His motorcade proceeded towards the Russian border.

American soldiers arrived in the Lvov region to train Ukrainian fighters for 10 months. The training program includes tactical and fire training, countering improvised explosive devices, tactical medicine, and more. 5,500 Ukrainian soldiers have been trained since 2015.
