Today, the Donetsk People’s Republic celebrates the National Flag Day. The event gathered 10,000 people. The head of the DPR congratulated the residents from the stage on the main square of Donetsk. «We were born as a state under this flag, we will win under it. I hope that soon this flag will sweep over all the cities of the former Donetsk region, «Alexander Zakharchenko said.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled 13 localities in the Donetsk People’s Republic. They used mortars, infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, grenade launchers and small arms. A civilian was wounded. 4 houses were damaged in the village Kominternovo and 3 houses in the village Alexandovka.

Kiev fighters shelled the positions of the LPR People’s Militia 5 times. They opened fire on the settlements Almaznaya, Kalinovo, Dolgoe and Kalinovka. They used mortars, grenade launchers and small arms. 1 Ukrainian soldier was killed and 1 wounded, Andrey Marochko reported.
