On Sunday, 11th of November, the residents of the DPR and LPR elected the future heads of the states, and parliamentarians in the parliaments. The turnout was very high — more than 80% in the DPR and 77% in the LPR. The servicemen could vote right on the front lines. Kiev announced their non-recognition of the voting results, and demanded an urgent meeting of the contact group. At the same time, as it was underlined by Dmitry Peskov — the press secretary of the Russian President — the elections in the DPR and the LPR didn’t go against the Minsk agreements. The international observers, presented in both republics, noted the transparency of the electoral process, and the high turnout of the voters. Denis Pushilin was elected as the head of the DPR. Leonid Pasechnik — as the head of the LPR. The elections took place during the on-going conflict in the Donbas. Contrary to the hopes of residents and authorities of the DPR — 11th of November wasn’t a peaceful day.

On 11th of November, during the election day of the new Head of the DPR, the Ukrainian troops violated the Minsk agreements by firing at the village of Zaitsevo, located near the town of Gorlovka. A residential house was destroyed. The inhabitants of the village were not injured.

Last night, the Ukrainian troops shelled the village of Golmovsky to the north of the town of Gorlovka. The shelling was performed from the territory of the occupied settlement Travnevoe. The Office of the People’s Militia of the DPR reported that a civilian was injured during the shelling. Currently, she is in the hospital of the town of Gorlovka, where she is receiving the medical care. It was noted that the house of the young woman was damaged from the shelling as well.

On the morning of 15th of November, Ukraine violated the Minsk agreements on the peaceful settlement of the conflict in the Donbas. At 9:30 in the morning, the Ukrainian troops, located in the settlement of Zolotoi-4, used a 120-mm mortar to shell the village of Maryevka (Zolotoi-5). As the result — a residential building was damaged. This was reported by Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko, the official representative of the People’s Militia of the LPR.

Darya Morozova, the Ombudsman for the DPR, sent the data to the international organizations regarding the attacks of the Ukrainian army drones on the settlements of the DPR. “Having violated the requirements of the international humanitarian law on the prohibition of the attacks on civilian objects, and on the prohibition of the random attacks during military operations — on 7th of November, the Ukrainian army launched UAVs to perform an air strike on the residential buildings in the village of Staromikhaylovka, the fact of which has documented evidence” — stated Daria Morozova.
