Donetsk filter station is under fire

The Ukrainian troops, despite the peace agreements, once again opened fire on the DPR. A bus carrying personnel of the Donetsk filter station was attacked by a grenade launcher. The bus was moving on the highway N-20, towards the station. A launched grenade exploded near the bus. Only by the sheer luck no one was hurt.

On 5th of May the Ukrainian troops, once again, shelled the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic. The houses in the village of Elenovka were under fire. The Ukrainian troops used large caliber small arms and AGS-17 automatic grenade launcher. A civilian was wounded during the shelling. Two houses were completely destroyed.

The foreign guests that arrived to the Republic to participate in the events of 9th of May, during the procession of the «Immortal Regiment» in Lugansk, carrier the photos of children, died in the LPR as a result of shelling from the Ukrainian troops. This was reported by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic, Anna Soroka. She noted that it wasn’t the first time when foreign guests came to the LPR in order to celebrate the Victory Day together with the residents of the Republic. Ukrainian troops began regular mortar shelling of the village of Dolomitnoe, located near Gorlovka, from their temporary firing positions on the playground of the settlement Novoluganskoye. This was announced by the head of the press service of the Department of the People’s Militia of the DPR — Daniel Bezsonov. He urged the civilians of the Kiev-controlled territories of Donbass to report all the violations of their rights and freedoms to the representatives of the UN and the OSCE, and other international organizations, in order to protect themselves from the abuse from the Ukrainian troops.
