Explosions on the positions of the Ukrainian forces

The representatives of the People’s Militia of the LPR recorded 3 explosions at the positions of the Ukrainian military near the village of Shastie and near the Novaya Kondrashevskaya railway station — the official representative of the People’s Militia of the LPR, Yakov Osadchy, announced during a briefing. He noted that the Ukrainian military are using the current ceasefire to continue their engineering work to build new positions, with the use of trench charges. He underlined that the forces of the People’s Militia of the LPR strictly follow the terms of the current ceasefire, and they did not open fire.

«During this year, the Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire almost 2,000 times by using heavy weaponry, prohibited by the Minsk agreements» — said the head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin. According to him, despite all the ceasefire agreements, Ukraine continues to create provocations. Ukraine will resume the massive shelling of the territory of the DPR at any convenient moment, given the experience from the previous attempts to resolve the conflict.

According to him, such approach will supposedly comply with the legislation, and the reforms currently being carried out in Ukraine. Natalia Nikonorova called the idea of ​​introducing a new wording in the so-called Package of Measures to be «an another try of the Ukrainian authorities to rewrite the agreements». She considers it pointless, and she calls on Kiev to implement the existing agreements. Donetsk reminded Kiev that the implementation of the Minsk agreements remains the only way to a peaceful settlement.

After the start of the ceasefire, the Ukrainian troops continued to suffer non-combat losses. The DPR forcers recorded some engineering work, carried out by the Ukrainian servicemen from the 503rd battalion of the 35th brigade, in the area of the village of Shumy. In the footage the Ukrainian troops are conducting engineering work in the vicinity of the ‘Seversky Donets — Donbass’ canal pipeline. «With those actions, the enemy openly demonstrates their disregard for the measures, taken to enhance and control the current indefinite ceasefire» — the defense department of the DPR stated.
