The press secretary of the Armenian Defense Ministry, Shushan Stepanyan, reported on Facebook about the continuation of the fighting along the entire frontline in Nagorno-Karabakh. «At 07:55 am, the air defense systems of the Armenian forces in the north-eastern part of Artsakh shot down an enemy airplane and a drone. The military operations continue along the entire frontline. The hostile attempts to break through the frontline in different directions have failed» — the report concluded.
2 Nagorno-Karabakh
The official representative of the Armenian Ministry of Defense, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, reported that the capital of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, Stepanakert, came under fire of the Azerbaijani forces. «As a result of the shelling of Stepanakert by the Azerbaijani troops — many people were wounded. The Karabakh Ministry of Emergency Situations and the civil infrastructure of the city were damaged» — Hovhannisyan stated on Facebook. He added that the Azerbaijani forces use cluster bombs in the military clashes in Nagorno-Karabakh.

The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported about a massive artillery shelling of the settlements in Aghdam region, located near the Nagorno-Karabakh area, by the Armenian troops. «There are dead and wounded among the civilians» — the message specified. It was noted that «there is information about missile attacks on Azerbaijan from the territory of the Gorus region of Armenia.» «Azerbaijan will take retaliatory measures» — the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry concluded.
4 Armenia
The Armenian Foreign Ministry commented on the statements of the presidents of Russia, the USA and France — the co-chairing countries of the OSCE Minsk Group. Yerevan stated that it is ready to start the negotiations on a ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh, with the mediation of the OSCE Minsk Group countries. «We welcome the fact that the heads of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries harshly condemned the use of force in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone. Armenia is committed to resolving the conflict peacefully. We will continue to repel the Azerbaijani aggression, but we are also ready to work with the co-chairing countries of the OSCE Minsk Group for a ceasefire on the basis of the agreements of 1994-1995» — the message stated.
5 Belgium
The head of the European Council, Charles Michel, stated at a press conference after the first day of the EU summit in Brussels that the EU calls on Turkey to stop interfering in the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh. “Everyone must play a more constructive role in order to facilitate a de-escalation. We want the outside interference to stop — it complicates the situation” — he explained. The EU summit stated that «Azerbaijan and Armenia should start negotiations without any preconditions. The European Council expresses its support for the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, and asks the High Representative for the Foreign Affairs and Security Policy to plan the further EU support for the settlement process». Earlier, the French President Emmanuel Macron stated that more than 300 Syrian Islamic terrorists were deployed to the conflict zone in Nagorno-Karabakh by Turkey.

The head of the European Council, Charles Michel, stated that the EU did not impose sanctions against Turkey for the actions in the Mediterranean sea. The EU decided to «give a chance to the political dialogue». Cyprus insists on imposing sanctions against Turkey. «We have agreed on an approach that opens up a dual strategy. We decided that we want to give a chance to the political dialogue, in our common interests. On the other hand, we have expressed our commitment to our values and full solidarity with Greece and Cyprus» — Charles Michel explained. The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, stated that Brussels is ready at any given time to impose sanctions against Ankara if Turkey won’t stop the one-sided provocations against Cyprus.
