Guaydo is ready for a dialogue with Maduro

Juan Guaydo, the leader of the Venezuelan opposition, announced that he is ready for a dialogue with the Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. He also expressed his willingness to cooperate with Russia. Juan Guaydo said on-air of the TV channel «France 24» that the opposition «can negotiate with the dictator.» However, he spoke in favor of continuing the demonstrations, and applying the diplomatic pressure on Caracas — TASS reports. Juan Guaydo also noted Norway’s intermediary role in the resolution of the crisis in Venezuela. However, he stated that the negotiations went nowhere.

Russian warships of the Black Sea Fleet began their planned exercises in the Black Sea, in which the NATO naval forces are currently conducting naval exercises «Sea Breeze-2019» — the information department of the Black Sea Fleet, which is a part of the press service of the Russian Southern Military District, reported. The Russian exercises involve 10 warships. Large landing craft «Azov» and «Caesar Kunikov», small missile warships «Orekhovo-Zuyevo» and «Mirage», as well as missile speedboats and some other vessels. At the final stage of the exercises, the crews will conduct missile and artillery firing. At the same time, the Black Sea Fleet warships continue to monitor the activities of the NATO warships in the north-western part of the Black Sea.

More than 40 civilians were killed or injured as a result of a mortar shell hitting the territory of a market in Afghanistan — TASS reports while referring the ‘Pajhwok’ agency. According to the ‘Pajhwok’ — the incident occurred in the province of Faryab, in the north-west of the country.

The Yemeni rebel movement ‘Ansar Allah’ attacked the airports of the Saudi cities of Jizan and Abha with UAVs — TASS reports while referring to the ‘al-Masirah’ TV channel. According to the ‘Ansar Allah’ — the aerial connection with the airport of Jizan is currently suspended. In addition, ‘al-Masirah’ reported that as a result of the attack — a number of important military facilities at Abha airport were damaged. ‘Reuters’ noted that the Saudi authorities haven’t yet confirmed the information about the attack.

Andrei Parubiy, the speaker of the Ukrainian parliament, demanded from the Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to sign the law on the temporary investigative and special commissions of the parliament, which would provide the impeachment procedures. Andrei Parubiy explained that according to the Ukrainian constitution, Vladimir Zelensky has 15 days to sign this law, and return it with suggestions. However, the deadline have expired on 27th of June. Thus, the veto of this document would be against the law.

A meeting of the Russia-NATO Council has begun in Brussels. The main topic will be the situation around the INF Treaty — RIA NEWS reports while citing one of the NATO officials. “The meeting of the Russia-NATO Council began before noon, just as planned. It will be held in the format of permanent representatives. The Secretary General will head the meeting as the chairman” — the NATO official explained. Earlier, NATO announced a council meeting with Russia, aimed to discuss the INF Treaty. The meeting will discuss the issue of the security in Europe and the world due to the US withdrawal from the INF Treaty. As well as the «predictable military activities».
