Houthi airstrike in Yemen

The ’Reuters’ reported that the Riyadh-led Arab coalition attacked the Yemeni rebel ’Ansar Allah’ movement in the city of Marib. It was reported that as a result of the attack, one air defense crew was destroyed.

The ’’Al Manar’’ TV reported that the Lebanese military opened fire on two Israeli UAVs that violated the state border. One UAV was reportedly seen above the army positions in the Mays al-Jebel border area. The other UAV was moving over the village of Blida. After the military opened fire on the drones from the ground — the UAVs turned back to Israel. The ’’Al Manar’’ TV quoted the eyewitness that reported about several flares that fell in the border strip near Mays al-Jebel. The flares were fired by the Israeli military.

The Libyan House of Representatives passed a vote of confidence to the new Government of National Unity headed by Abdel Hamid Dbeiba — the ’218 TV’ reported live from Sirt. 134 deputies were at the meeting. 132 voted ’’for’’, 2 abstained, and 36 were absent. A peace conference on Afghanistan is planned for 18th of March, in Moscow. This information was confirmed by the Russian Foreign Ministry. The spokesman of the High Council for the National Reconciliation, Freidun Hwazun, stated that the Afghan politicians, including the President Ashraf Ghani, and the High Councilor for the National Reconciliation — Chairman Abdullah Abdullah — were invited to attend the peace conference on Afghanistan in Russia, on 18th of March. He noted that representatives of the Taliban, and representatives of other countries have been invited to the meeting in Moscow as well.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stated during a briefing that Baku and Yerevan are showing a constructive attitude within the framework of the activities of the trilateral working group on Nagorno-Karabakh, chaired by the deputy prime ministers of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia.
