Humanitarian catastrophe in Ukraine

1 The DPR

The Russian forces continue the special military operation to liberate the LPR and the DPR. Several more settlements were liberated by the DPR, LPR, and the Russian forces. The Ukrainian nationalists were pushed back. Convoys of Russian armor continue to move towards Kiev, which has been cut off from the West for several days by now. The offensive operation is taking place under the cover of the Russian aviation, which completely controls the sky in the special operation zone. The problem of the bridges, destroyed by the retreating Ukrainian forces, is being resolved quickly. The combat engineers deploy the crossings platforms — just like they did during many exercises. 7 settlements, including the strategically important Novoaydar, were liberated by the LPR. A direct road goes from there to Lugansk and Severodonetsk. The locals admit that after so many years — they finally feel safe again.

2 Russia

Water began to flow into the North Crimean Canal once again. The water is at the level of 1.5 meters. It will take time for the channel to fill up completely. Back in May of 2014 Ukraine cut off the water supply to Crimea from the Kherson region via the North Crimean Canal, which provided up to 90% of water to Crimea. During the special operation, the Russian forces destroyed the dam built by the Ukrainian nationalists.

3 Ukraine

The Ukrainian Nazis fired on a group of Chinese citizens who tried to cross into the Russian territory in the city of Kharkov. 2 people were badly injured. According to the Russian ministry of defense — a catastrophic humanitarian situation took place all over Ukraine. Russia has created all the necessary conditions for the safe evacuation of people from Ukraine — the ministry added.

4 Ukraine

A catastrophic situation took place all over Ukraine. It is taking place in the cities of Kiev, Mariupol, Kharkiv, and Sumy — Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev, the head of the Russian National Defense Center, reported. More than 300 tons of essential items will be transferred to the population on the 3rd of March, during 14 humanitarian actions. Mikhail Mizintsev added the following: «in Kiev, Kharkov, Sumy, Odessa and Mariupol, and at least in two dozen other large settlements, the Ukrainian Nazis blockaded tens of thousands of citizens of Ukraine. They don’t let them reach the safety» — end of quote.

5 The DPR

2 adults and 2 children were injured as a result of the shelling of the town of Gorlovka by the Ukrainian troops — the DPR representatives in the Joint Center for the Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire reported. All the victims were provided with the medical aid. As a result of the fighting — a gas pipeline was damaged in the Lugansk region. There were no casualties — the «Ukrainian GTS Operator company» reported. There were reports of new attacks by the Ukrainian forces on the city of Donetsk — namely on the Kievsky district. 1 local woman was injured. The village of Yasinovataya was under fire as well. 1 local woman died.

6 The DPR

The Russian and the DPR forces have organized a humanitarian corridor for the residents of Mariupol, through which they can leave the city — Denis Pushilin, the head of the DPR, reported. According to him, the refugees will be provided with medical care and essential goods. Recently the People’s Militia of the DPR joined the Russian forces and surrounded the city of Mariupol.

7 Russia

The 2nd round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine started on 3rd of March. The head of the Russian delegation, Vladimir Medinsky, stated earlier that the negotiations were planned for 15 hours. According to him — the negotiations will be held in the Brest region. The proposals from the Russian delegation at the negotiations with Ukraine consist of 3 parts: military-technical, humanitarian-international, and political. The Ukrainian representatives promised to bring their negotiation position to the negotiations. Dmitry Peskov stated that the main detail isn’t the place itself, but the fact that a meeting takes place. The first meeting took place on 28th of February, in the Gomel region. It lasted 5 hours.

8 France

The French President Emmanuel Macron had a new telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin. The press service of the Kremlin reported that the parties discussed the situation in Ukraine. The conversation lasted for 1.5 hours. Emmanuel Macron expressed a hope for a swift end of the escalation. Vladimir Putin noted that the settlement will begin only if the Russian legitimate interests will be fully taken into the account. Their list includes the recognition of the status of Crimea, the demilitarization of Ukraine, and its de-nazification. He noted that Moscow is open for the negotiations with Kiev. Then Emmanuel Macron phoned the Ukrainian president Vladimir Zelensky. Constantine Reztsov, specially for the ANNA NEWS
