Israel hits the Hamas

The IDF reported on Twitter that on Wednesday night the IDF bombed military targets of the radical Palestinian movement «Hamas» in the Gaza Strip. The air strike was a response to the launch of a rocket at Israel. «In response to a rocket launched from the Gaza Strip at Israel tonight, the IDF fighters and attack helicopters hit a workshop where such rockets were made, and also a Hamas military post» — the statement reported.

It was reported that the target of the attacks were 2 universities in the provinces of Najran and Jizan, as well as the settlement of Khamis Mushait. The ’Sky News Arabia’ TV reported that the ’Ansar Allah’ also fired a ballistic missile from Sana’a, but the missile fell in the Yemeni province of Jawf. The spokesman of the ’Ansar Allah’, Brigadier General Yahya Saria, announced the start of new attacks on the territory of Saudi Arabia — the ’Al-Masirah’ TV quoted his words. Several sites of the Saudi ’Aramco’ oil company were reportedly attacked. The attacks were carried out by 12 UAVs and 8 missiles. Another 6 UAVs attacked the military targets in the Saudi provinces of Asir and Najran. Yahya Saria announced that the ’Ansar Allah’ will carry out their operations as long as the blockade of Yemen continues.

The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that the USA didn’t accept the proposal of Vladimir Putin to hold a videoconference with Joe Biden on 19th or 22nd of March, in an open mode, in order to discuss the accumulated problems and issues of the strategic stability. The ministry noted that Washington missed yet another opportunity to «find a way out of the dead end in the Russian-American relations that was caused by Washington». Earlier, Joe Biden stated that the contacts between the leaders of the two countries will take place at some stage in the future.
