Israel retaliated against Lebanon

The deputy head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of the Warring Parties in Syria, Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit, stated that the terrorist groups, operating in the Turkish-controlled part of Syria, attacked Syrian forces on the contact line in the Idlib DMZ. The attack was carried out by a UAV that dropped an IED. As a result of the explosion, 5 Syrian servicemen were injured.

On Thursday night, the Israeli Air Force planes attacked targets in south of Lebanon, in a response to the launch of 3 rockets from the territory of Lebanon. The IDF Press Service reported that the air strikes were carried out on the launch sites and infrastructure from which the rockets were launched. Earlier, the high command of the Lebanese army reported in a communique that the Israeli troops fired 92 shells per day at south of Lebanon.

’The Wall Street Journal’ reported that the commander of the Taliban who is leading the attacks on the provincial capital of Helmand, the city of Lashkar Gah, has been released under the US pressure as a concession during the negotiations with the Taliban. The 1TV reported that 38 civilians were killed and 156 were injured during the fierce fighting between the government troops and the terrorists in the Helmand province. The fighting has been going on for several days by now.

The Pentagon spokesman John Kirby stated that the USA will continue the air-strikes to support the Afghan military and security forces. He didn’t go into details about how such decisions are being made. John Kirby added that the Afghan Air Forces are carrying out air-strikes to support their ground forces as well, and they are doing more air-strikes than the USA.

The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry accused Armenia of a new attack. It was reported that on Monday night, the Armenian troops fired from small arms at positions of Azerbaijani troops on the Nakhichevan part of the border line. There were no killed or wounded among the Azerbaijani military. The Ministry noted that the attack was suppressed with a return fire. It was reported that the situation on that sector of the border is stable, the operational situation is being controlled by the Azerbaijani troops.
