Kiev jams the OSCE’s drones

The Permanent Representative of Russia to the OSCE, Alexander Lukashevich, announced that Ukraine is jamming the OSCE drones in order to hide their military activity in Donbass from the international observers. “A typical case occurred on 10th of January, near the Kiev-controlled village of Orekhovo, in the Luhansk region. A short-range drone was jammed, and fell into the hands of the Ukrainian military” — he said. As it was noted by Alexander Lukashevich — a bit later, the Ukrainian military returned the drone of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission. The drone had a completely blank memory card. “Such interference in the operations of the Mission’s technical activities is unacceptable. It demonstrates a desire to hide the military activity from the mission” — he explained.

“Since the last meeting of the Contact Group for the Peaceful Settlement of the Donbass Conflict, which took place in Minsk on 18th of December 2019 — the Ukrainian troops violated the ceasefire regime 140 times by firing more than a 1000 of shells at the DPR” — the representatives of the DPR at the Joint Center for the Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire announced. It was noted that as a result of the shelling by the Ukrainian troops — 1 civilian was injured and 9 houses were damaged. The most dangerous areas of the region remained the areas to the west and to the north from the city of Donetsk, the towns of Yasinovataya, Gorlovka, and the south of the Republic.

On 10th of January 2020, as a result of a shelling of the LPR by the Ukrainian troops — a civilian was injured in the settlement of Kirovsk. The civilian infrastructure at 5 locations was damaged. The gas pipeline and the power line were also damaged. As the result — 7 houses were left without gas supply, and 60 houses without power supply.

«On Wednesday, the OSCE recorded 140 explosions in Donbass region» — the daily report of the OSCE for 15th January reported. The OSCE reported 25 explosions on the frontline of the DPR with Ukraine. “Almost half of the ceasefire violations and explosions were recorded west of the village of Sentyanivka” — the OSCE specified.
