Libya is ready to fight Turkey

1 Libya

The representative of the High Council of the Sheikhs and Tribes of Libya, Saleh al-Fundi, stated that the Libyan tribes are ready to provide about a 1,000,000 of people that are ready to fight the Turkish forces in Libya — the ‘Al-Sharq al-Awsat’ newspaper quoted the sheikh. According to al-Fundi — the most effective response to the actions of Turkey in Libya «will be the vanguard role of the forces of the Libyan tribes in the advancement of the Egyptian army, if the Turkish troops do decide to enter the Libyan territory».

2 France — Libya

The French President Emmanuel Macron has called for sanctions against the powers, involved in the conflict in Libya. In his opinion, such measures will help to achieve a settlement of the situation. “We can’t allow any foreign powers to violate the arms embargo. The EU’s operation ‘IRINI’ is one of the EU’s responses, but it needs to be enhanced in order to achieve even greater security. An another step should be the sanctions. This is a necessary condition for a ceasefire, and for giving real dynamics to the political solution of the Libyan conflict» — Macron said. He underlined that his country will make efforts to further resolve the conflict in Libya. He added that Europe should «carefully consider the matters of security in the Mediterranean region.»

3 Syria — Russia

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that over the past day, the Russian representatives in the commission on the violations of the ceasefire in Syria recorded 6 violations. 4 violations were recorded in the Idlib province, and one violation each in the provinces of Latakia and Aleppo. The NBC TV reported while citing their sources that the American intelligence services believe that the Chinese Consulate General in Houston helped the Chinese intelligence services in their attempts of stealing of the data, related to the medical developments in the USA. Earlier the Chinese Consul General in Houston, Cai Wei, stated during an interview to the NBC TV that the US authorities didn’t provide any evidence that the employees of the Chinese Consulate General in Houston committed any violations. During a press conference at the White House, Donald Trump announced that the US administration does not exclude possible closure of more Chinese diplomatic missions in the USA. The ‘Associated Press’ reported while citing a spokesman of the Donald Trump’s administration that the US authorities have decided to not re-open the US consulate in Wuhan.

6 China — The USA

Hu Xijin, the editor-in-chief of the Chinese newspaper ‘Global Times’ said that the Chinese authorities may demand Washington to reduce the number of the US diplomats and technicians at the American consulates in Hong Kong and Macau, as a response to the American demand to close the Chinese consulate in Houston. He added that China has 5 consulates in the USA, including the one in Houston. The USA have six consulates in China, including the one in Hong Kong. «The Hong Kong Consulate General has at least a thousand employees. Why are so many people needed in there?
