By making an ultimatum to Turkey — the United States de-facto admitted their defeat in the negotiations on the purchase of the Russian S-400 AA missile systems. The United States used the ultimatum as a pretext to impose sanctions, with which they had threatened Turkey during previous months. Despite all of this — Ankara announced that the deal on the S-400s is done, and it won’t be canceled.
The Air forces of the Libyan government of national consent performed air strikes on the positions of the Libyan National Army, headed by the Marshal Khalifa Haftar, in the north of the country — Interfax reports with a reference to the Anatolian news agency.
