1 The UK — the EU
The UK and the EU have managed to negotiate an agreement after the Brexit. “We have finally found an agreement. It was a long road, but we can now demonstrate a good deal” — said the European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen at a press conference after the negotiations. According to her — the agreement was worth fighting for, and the deal is in the interests of the EU. According to the representatives of the British government — the UK, as part of the agreement, regained control over the finances, borders, laws, trade rules, and waters. «We have concluded the first ever trade agreement with the EU based on the principle of zero tariffs and quotas» — the UK authorities specified. At the same time, the European Parliament stated that the EU won’t be able to carefully examine the agreement between London and Brussels on their relationship after the Brexit since it was reached at the last moment.
2 Israel — Syria
«The Israeli Air Force launched a missile attack on the Syrian city of Masyaf, in the western part of the Hama province. The Syrian air defense forces managed to shoot down most of the incoming missiles» — the Syrian state TV reported while citing a source in the Syrian defense department. «The Israeli air strikes came from the Lebanese airspace, from the Libyan capital of Tripoli» — the SANA news agency reported. The target of the air attack could be the research center near the city of Masyaf.

The Deputy Head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of the Warring Parties in Syria, Rear-Admiral Vyacheslav Sytnik, reported that the terrorists from the ’Jebhat al-Nusra’ group carried out 38 attacks in the Idlib DMZ in Syria. Specifically, 21 attacks were in the Idlib province, 5 in Aleppo, 2 in Latakia, and 3 in Hama. Over the past day, there were no attacks from the illegal armed groups, controlled by Turkey. The press service of the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the combat engineers of the Russian peacekeepers are completing the demining of the northern outskirts of the city of Stepanakert. In total, during their operation, the Russian peacekeepers cleared more than 280 hectares of terrain, about 107 kilometers of roads, and 452 housing buildings. They found and defused more than 9,000 explosive items.
The Russian Air Force received the first serial 5th-generation multirole fighter ’SU-57’. The aircraft was delivered to one of the air force regiments of the Southern Military District. In 2021 the Russian Air Force will receive 4 more such aircraft. In accordance with the contract, signed in 2019, the delivery of 76 such aircraft is planned by 2028. The 5th generation fighter SU-57 was designed to destroy all types of air, ground and surface targets.
