1 Nagorno-Karabakh

The press secretary of the Armenian Defense Ministry, Shushan Stepanyan, stated on Facebook that the passed night in the conflict zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh region was relatively calm. «After the numerous calls from the international community for an immediate ceasefire in the Karabakh conflict zone — the previous night was relatively calm» — end of quote. 2 Nagorno-Karabakh

The Armenian Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan stated at a briefing that since the beginning of the escalation of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh, 19 civilians were killed and 80 were injured. The Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan reported the death of 27 civilians, 141 people were injured. It was reported that 63 civilian facilities and 376 residential buildings were damaged.

3 Kyrgyzstan

Protests against the results of the parliamentary elections took place in Kyrgyzstan. The protesters seized the building of the Government House. Previously they seized the parliament. The protesters are demanding to release all the people, considered by them as political prisoners. The Former President Almazbek Atambayev, the former Prime Minister Sapar Isakov, and the former MPs Sadyr Zhaparov and Ravshan Dzheenbekov are released by now. The President of Kyrgyzstan stated that it is an attempt to illegally seize the power. «Last night some political forces tried to illegally seize the state power. By using the election results as an excuse, they violated the public order» — the president stated. The press secretary of the President of Kyrgyzstan announced that Sooronbai Jeenbekov recommended the Central Election Commission to »carefully study the materials related to the violations, up to a cancelation of the results of the parliamentary elections».

4 Kyrgyzstan

The press service of the Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan reported that the CEC of Kyrgyzstan considers the results of the parliamentary elections, held on 4th of October, to be invalid due to numerous violations during the voting and the pre-election period. The question of a self-dissolution of the CEC was postponed. The ‘Kabar’ news agency reported while citing the deputy head of the CEC that the CEC of Kyrgyzstan will announce new parliamentary elections within 2 weeks. The Kyrgyz Ministry of Health reported that 686 people were injured as a result of clashes between police and the demonstrators. 164 people were hospitalized, 1 person died.

5 Israel — the Gaza Strip

The press office of the IDF reported that 1 rocket was fired at Israel from the Gaza Strip on Monday evening. «In response, an aircraft of the IDF hit a military position of Hamas at the south of the Gaza Strip» — the statement reported. The state radio ‘Kan’ reported that the rocket exploded in an uninhabited area. There was no information about the victims and the damage.

6 The USA

The Russian Permanent Representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, reported that during a UN Security Council meeting, several countries — Belgium, the UK, the USA, Germany, France and Estonia — opposed hearing the report of the former head of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, Jose Bustani. His report is dedicated to the elimination of the Syrian chemical weapons. «This incident showed that some of our partners are afraid. They feel insecure when we discuss the chemical dossier, because they are afraid of the truth.
