The US administration decided to temporarily suspend the flights from Venezuela because of a security threat, the US Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao announced. “The Ministry of Homeland Security has concluded that there is a threat to the safety of the passengers, airplanes and crew members arriving to, and leaving Venezuela. This requires an immediate suspension of all civil aviation flights between the United States and Venezuela”- TASS quoted the US Secretary of Transportation. On 1st of May, the US Federal Aviation Administration recommended to the American airline companies to withdraw their airplanes from the territory of Venezuela within 48 hours.

Major-General Viktor Kupchishin, the head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of the Warring Parties, announced that as a result of shelling, conducted by the terrorists from the Idlib DMZ upon the settlement Nairab, in the province of Aleppo — 8 Syrians were killed. Two of them were children. “As a result of the shelling of the village of Nairab, in the province of Aleppo, 8 Syrian citizens, including 2 children, were killed. 10 civilians were injured” — said Viktor Kupchishin. The details of the negotiation weren’t disclosed. The exact place of the meeting in the Norwegian capital is classified as well. The sources of the channel claim that the meeting of the parties in Oslo was held for the second time, but such contact haven’t been previously reported about. According to the NRK — the Norwegian Foreign Ministry organized a meeting in coordination with the US authorities.

The inauguration of Vladimir Zelensky, the elected president of Ukraine, will take place on 20th of May — RIA NEWS reports. Such decision was supported on a meeting of the Ukrainian parliament by 315 votes, with the necessary minimum of 226 votes.
