Pakistan won’t provide military bases to the USA

The Pakistani Foreign Minister, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, stated that Pakistan won’t provide military bases on their territory to the USA during the pulling of the foreign troops from Afghanistan. Such was his statement on the information from ’The New York Times’ that negotiations are underway between Washington and Islamabad on the matter of providing the US intelligence services with a base to monitor the situation in Afghanistan, and conduct counter-terrorist operations. He added that Pakistan should take into account its own interests.

Earlier, Ukraine stated that Joe Biden «underlined the importance of providing Ukraine with an action plan for the NATO membership». The message was later corrected. Now it says that «Zelenskiy noted the importance of providing Ukraine with an action plan for the NATO membership».
