President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in Moscow

1 Russia

The President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has arrived in Moscow. This is the first meeting of the both presidents after the January events in Kazakhstan, when a wave of protests took place in a number of cities, which then turned into riots. In those days, the peacekeepers from the CSTO went to Kazakhstan. Their main task was to protect the strategic objects. As Vladimir Putin noted — international gangs operated in Kazakhstan, but now the situation has returned to normal.

2 Belarus

The joint Russian-Belarusian training «Allied Resolve — 2022» has started. It is the largest test of the response forces of Moscow and Minsk so far. The exclusively peaceful training will last until 20th of February. The main goal is to work out the defensive actions in case of an external aggression or a terrorist threat. There are many training tasks for the next 10 days — enhancement of the protection of borders, cutting off channels for the supply of weapons, and blocking of gangs.

3 Russia

The Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov described the conversation with the UK Foreign Minister, Liz Truss, on the Ukrainian matter as «a conversation between a mute person and a deaf person». He added that he has a feeling that his British colleagues are either unfamiliar, or completely ignorant of the Russian detailed explanations on the Ukrainian issue. Sergey Lavrov added that not only the Russian leadership refutes the plans for the supposed invasion of Ukraine, but also the Pentagon as well.

4 Donbass

The intelligence service of the people’s militia of the LPR has received an information that Ukraine has sent servicemen from a special training center «West» to a number of settlements in Donbass to carry out provocations — Anton Mikuzhis, an officer of the press service of the people’s militia department, reported at a briefing. He mentioned the settlements of Stanytsia Luganskaya, Shastie, Krimskoe, and Severodonetsk. According to him, the volunteers handed over silent firing devices for small arms to the reconnaissance company of the 30th mechanized brigade.

5 Iran

Tehran hosted a celebration on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran. Some foreign ambassadors, including the Syrian ambassador Shafik Dayyub, came for the celebration. During the celebration, the Iranian president Ebrahim noted that the foreign policy goal of Iran is the enhancement of the connections and general trust with all countries of the world, which will lead to a sustainable security in the region. According to the Iranian president — the region suffers from terrorism, organized crime, and foreign interference.
