1 Russia

A self-isolation regime has been introduced for all the residents of Moscow and the Moscow Region in order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection. Self-isolation was introduced by the decree of the mayor of the city, Sergei Sobyanin, and by the resolution of the governor of the Moscow Region, Andrei Vorobyov. The residents of Moscow and Moscow region were recommended to not move around the city without a good reason. On Sunday Sergei Sobyanin stated on his website that in a few days the authorities will complete «a number of technical and organizational activities». Special passes for the moving around the city will be introduced. “Gradually, but steadily, we will tighten the controls, necessary in such situation» — Sobyanin explained.

2 Russia

The operational HQ, made to fight the spread of the new coronavirus, reported that over the past day 302 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus have been identified in Russia. The total number of cases in Russia is 1836 people, in 71 regions of the country. Currently 66 people have recovered. 9 people have died. The Russian Minister of Health, Mikhail Murashko, stated that the condition of 32 people with the new coronavirus, in 18 regions, was assessed by the doctors as «serious».

3 China — Venezuela

The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying announced that the Chinese government sent a team of medical experts to Venezuela in order to help to fight the new coronavirus. The group was formed by the State Health Committee of China. The specialists flew out of China on 29th of March, and on Monday they arrived to Venezuela. The Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro previously announced that Venezuela has already received various medical supplies from China to fight the coronavirus pandemic.

4 Syria

The «Al Mayadeen» TV reported that the so-called «Syrian Democratic Forces» regained their control over the prison in Hasakah in which the foreign mercenaries, who used to fight for the ISIS group, are being held. The Kurdish news agency »Firate» reported that the prisoners tried to take the guards as hostages and take control over the prison. The swiftly arrived SDF units crushed the riot. The representative of the international coalition, Colonel Vincent Parker, stated that the forces of the international anti-terrorist coalition, led by the US, will leave the bases in Iraq according to the plan approved earlier. «This process was pre-planned and it isn’t related to the attacks on coalition bases or the current situation due to the spread of the coronavirus in Iraq» — the Iraqi news website »Al Yaum» quoted the Colonel.
