Saboteurs attacked the Dnieper police department in Kherson

1 Russia Vladimir Putin watched a training of the Russian strategic deterrence forces. He then heard a report from the head of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Sergei Shoigu, who noted that the training had been conducted under the leadership of Vladimir Putin. It simulated a delivery of a massive nuclear strike in a response to a hostile nuclear strike. The Kremlin stated that launches of an ICBM «Yars», and a ballistic missile ’’Sineva’’ were carried out at the test site Kura, in Kamchatka. The 1st missile was launched from the cosmodrome ’Plesetsk’. The 2nd missile — from the Barents Sea. Both missiles reached their target, thus confirming their characteristics. Tu-95MS long-range bombers were used during the training as well. The bombers launched cruise missiles. Meanwhile, the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Forces reported that the strategic missile submarine ’Tula’, from the Northern Fleet, was also involved in the training of the strategic forces.

2 Russia — Europe The deputy head of the Russian delegation, Konstantin Vorontsov, stated at a meeting of the First Committee of the UN General Assembly that Russia demands Ukraine and its Western handlers to stop actions that could lead the world to a nuclear catastrophe. The RIA NEWS reported that Konstantin Vorontsov reminded about the words of Zelensky, said by him in February, during the Munich Security Conference, on the possibility of revising the Ukrainian nuclear-free status. According to Konstantin Vorontsov — those words meant an attempt to obtain nuclear weapons, to the detriment of the NPT regime. He noted that given the recent statements of Ukraine about the need for the preventive nuclear strikes by the NATO countries against Russia — this is categorically unacceptable. Earlier, the head of the radiation, chemical, and biological protection forces, Lieutenant-General Igor Kirillov, stated that 2 Ukrainian organizations were instructed to assemble a «dirty bomb». They’ve almost finished their job. The foreign Ministers of the UK and France, James Cleverly and Catherine Colonna, as well as the US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, rejected the Russian statements. On 25th of October, Russia requested a discussion at the UN Security Council meeting on the issue of the Ukrainian dirty bomb provocation.

3 Russia — Italy Russia expresses its indignation and a strong protest due to the Italian withdrawal of the invitation of Russia to the meeting of the Group of Experts on the Operational Issues of the Initiative to Combat the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction, planned on 26th of October, in Rome. The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stated that it was an another provocative attack on Moscow. She views the move as unfriendly. According to her, the course, taken by the West, to politicize the work of the PSI undermines the legitimacy of all activities within the framework of the Initiative. Russia is still committed to the cause of WMD non-proliferation. Russia is ready to contribute to the achievement of the relevant goals in a cooperation with the interested partners. «As for the event in Rome — Moscow will keep a distance from any agreements that the participating states can reach» — the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry quoted Maria Zaharova.

4 Turkey — Libya The Turkish Defense Minister, Hulusi Akar, have arrived in Libya for an official visit — the ’Fawasel’ reported on 26th of October. During his visit, Hulusi Akar have met with the head of the Government of National Unity of Libya, Abdel-Hamid Dabaiba. During the meeting, Hulusi Akar confirmed to Abdel-Hamid Dabaiba the determination of Turkey to continue the army training of the Libyan army, the supply of military aid, and also to provide the services of the Turkish military consultants to the Libyan government in Tripoli. After the meeting, Dabaiba and Akar signed 2 agreements on cooperation between Turkey and Libya in the military affairs.

5 Palestine — Israel Militants of one of the local groups reported an attack on the Israeli military in the West Bank — the ’’Quds News’’ reported while citing their sources. According to the «Quds News» — the attack took place near the city of Jaba. The militants fired on an army checkpoint with small arms, inflicting casualties on the Israeli forces. The attack took place after the Israeli military carried out a special operation in Jaba, arresting several Palestinians. Earlier, riots took place all over the Palestinian autonomy after 6 residents of the city of Nablus were killed in clashes with Israeli security forces.

6 Kherson Saboteurs attacked the Dnieper police department in Kherson — a representative of the emergency services of the Kherson region told to the reporters. «At 13:00 an attempt was made to attack the Dniprovsky District Department of Internal Affairs of the city of Kherson, in order to seize weapons. The attackers managed to fire once from an ’RPG’ grenade laucher» — the representative stated.
