Sergey Lavrov: “A new stage of the special military operation has begun”

During an interview with the «India Today» TV channel, the Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, announced the start of the next phase of the Russian special operation to protect Donbass. Traditional weapons will be used during the next stage. He reminded that the goal of the Russian special operation in Ukraine is «the complete liberation of the DPR and the LPR». According to him, the possibility of Russia using nuclear weapons during the special operation isn’t being considered. He reminded that after the negotiations with Ukraine in Istanbul, Russia, as a gesture of goodwill, changed the position of the troops. The gesture wasn’t appreciated. He added that Moscow is investigating the war crimes, committed by the Ukrainian neo-Nazi battalions and other Ukrainian forces in Bucha. He added that the truth will be found.

2 Ukraine

The Russian forces received an information about a new inhumane provocation of the Security Service of Ukraine — a mass execution of civilians of the Odessa region. One of the punitive units of the Security Service of Ukraine plans to change into the Russian uniforms for this goal. Then a blatant attack on civilians will take place. The civilians will be shot in public, on cameras, in order to later accuse the Russian forces of committing a war crime. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the freshly made photo and video materials will be published by the Ukrainian and Western mass media, which are tasked with spinning the fake news, and blaming the Russian military. The Russian Defense Ministry stated that Russia already has all the evidence of the preparation of this war crime by the SBU officers.

3 Ukraine

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that over the past day, the Russian air forces used precision missiles to hit 13 strongholds and areas of concentration of the Ukrainian forces. 60 Ukrainian military installations were destroyed. 2 storage depots for warheads of ’’Tochka-U’’ tactical missiles were destroyed near the villages of Chervonaya Polyana and Balakleya. 3 Ukrainian command posts and 53 concentration areas of Ukrainian forces were hit. 4 Ukrainian UAVs were shot down near Marinka, Kamenka, Semyonovka and Sinichino.

4 Russia

3 civilians in the Russian village of Golovchino, in the Graivoronsky district of the Belgorod region, were injured as a result of an attack of the Ukrainian forces. The wounded civilians received a medical help — the local governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported. 30 households in the village of Golovchino were hit, mostly on the Chapaeva and the Novostroevka streets. The roofs, windows, fences and personal vehicles of the locals were damaged. The Ukrainian forces used MLRS «Uragan» against the village. Cassette warheads were used.

5 Ukraine

The Ukrainian forces attacked the village of Pologi, in the Zaporozhye region — the Russian Defense Ministry reported. The liberated village was hit with cluster warheads. Civilians were under fire. The shrapnel damaged a lot of buildings.

Dozens of machine guns and pistols, hundreds of rifles and carbines, grenades, ammo of various types, and many other weapons were found during a large-scale special operation in 33 regions of Russia. The operation was carried out by employees of 3 departments at once — the FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the National Guard. 92 people were arrested. Their roles in the underground arms business were clearly defined. Some of them re-worked and restored weapons. Others were selling the weapons. The Russian federal services planned this operation for several months. All the suspects were checked properly. The evidence was dully collected. Nobody managed to hide.
