Summary events of Novorossiya, February 19, 2017

The Ukrainian Army attacked the positions of the DPR near the village Spartak last night. 3 Ukrainian soldiers were killed, the Deputy Commander of the operational command of the DPR Eduard Basurin reported today.

Ukrainian fighters have opened fire at a group of electricians that is repairing damaged power lines near the Donetsk filtering station today.

The situation in the DPR has become aggravated. The Ukrainian Armed Forces shelled the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic 2.500 times for the last 24 hours. They used tanks, mortars, infantry fighting vehicles, heavy artillery, antiaircraft guns, grenade launchers and small arms. Ukrainian fighters shelled 30 localities. 1 soldier of the DPR was wounded. There is no electricity in the village Kominternovo. 1 house was damaged in Yasinovataya. The Donetsk filtering station remains without electricity. Donetsk authorities are forced to reduce the supply of water.

2 Ukrainian self-propelled guns and 3 tanks were detected in Maryinka, Eduard Basurin reported today.

Kiev fighters shelled the positions of the LPR People’s Militia in the villages Kalinovka, Logvinovo, Kalinovo, Almaznoe and Sokolnoki. They used mortars, grenade launchers, infantry fighting vehicles and small arms; it has been reported by the Ministry of Defense. There were no casualties.
